This special edition pistol is No. 113 of a total of 500 manufactured. It is an American Tribute to the famous Colt Model 1911 semi-automatic pistol. It is chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge and has the brushed stainless finish with polished sides and 5" barrel. Both sides of slide are stamped "113 of 500 Colt "Proud to be an American" with the Statue of Liberty and a Bald Eagle. This is done in gold and copper overlays with etched scenes. This pistol exhibits a high profile wind-drift white dot front sight, a gold plated hammer, slide stop, safety, magazine release button and barrel bushing; as well as grip screws. It has finely checkered walnut diamond grip panels, long serrated trigger, straight serrated mainspring housing. This gun is new and unfired, albeit, it does have a light drag line. Comes in its original plastic carry case with all paperwork, including original factory certificate, and is all housed in the original shipping box with original wood display case.
