These carbines were manufactured from 1857 to 1865. Features include a 22" round barrel, .54 caliber percussion breachloader. This is a Fifth Model. Barrel retains approximately 90% original blue with some light freckling and dulling. Barrel band is brown patina. Original factory sights. Frame retains approximately 80% original case colors. Fire blue still present on receiver, block, and lever. Walnut stocks are in excellent condition, albeit finish is dull. Perfect working order. Strong bore with some minor abrasions. Fire blue still present on screws. Rear stock sling swivel. Breach block number does not match frame. A very high condition Burnside.
