French, circa 1890. "Little Girl with Hankie and Perfume" by Lambert. Bisque head doll marked Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 4 with brown glass eyes, painted lashes, closed mouth, pierced ears and blonde mohair wig. On a French carton torso and legs with wire upper arms and bisque lower arms. Wearing original silk garment. Stands on velvet covered base with La Mascotte paper label on bottom. Working. Key wound. Contains a clockwork and musical mechanism. When wound girl nods and turns head side to side as music plays. Also alternately dabs perfume to hankie and raises hankie to face. Provenance: Theriault's A Cherished Collection, 2007. Includes original Theriault's lot tags.

Condition: (Near Mint).
