This V Grade Parker was built in 1899. The frame is numbered 90130, the barrels are numbered 147127 and were manufactured in 1908. The forearm is numbered to the barrel. Stock is a replacement with proper dog-head buttplate. Barrels measure 28", 12 gauge, automatic ejectors, double triggers, 14-1/4" LOP to front trigger, full matted rib marked "Vulcan Steel", single bead front sight. Bores have some roughness. Lock up is tight. Barrels are basically a smooth mix of blue and brown with a small dent on the bottom of both barrels. Receiver is gun metal grey. Checkering is worn smooth on forend. Buttstock is excellent, fits nicely, with no cracks or chips. It is obvious that this shotgun had the barrels switched for smokeless powder.
