This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 7/24/2015
This example has all early features, including the small post front sight, lanyard ring in butt, caliber not marked on metal. It is a six shot, .44 caliber single action with a 7-1/2" barrel, factory nickel finish and varnished walnut stocks. This gun bears an unusual cartouche on the left side of frame as well as on left grip panel. Remains in excellent condition, retaining approximately 70% original factory nickel on all metal parts with exception to the brown patina cylinder. Timing is a bit off. Grips are excellent. Very good bore. Very popular early competitor to the Colt single action.
