Standard Civil War military inspected single action .44 caliber percussion revolver. Features an 8" octagon barrel, blued finish, six shot and single action. This is a standard issue Civil War martial revolver. Bears all proper military inspector marks on barrel, frame, cylinder and lever. Very readable cartouche on left grip. Period walnut grips are excellent with usual dings and carving on left side of grip. Perfect working order with tight lock up. Fine original nipples. Strong bore with minor corrosion. Retains approximately 75% of the original blue finish. Traces of case colors on hammer. Fine condition popular Civil War revolver.
