These are referred to a "Artillery Lugers" and feature an 8" barrel with the long range rear sight. Manufactured at Erfurt and is dated 1914. Chambered for the 9mm cartridge and has a red "9" carved into grips. Frame is stamped "4744". Barrel is stamped "1976". Has various numbers on other parts, i.e. "44", "39", "45", "34", "78" and "67". Has a replacement magazine. Retains approximately 65% finish. Has British proofs on bottom of barrel. Very good bore. Fine action. Comes with an original holster with period altered belt loop. Interesting Artillery Model Luger that ended up in the service of the British empire.
