This is a fourth change as manufactured from 1915 to 1942. Standard features include a 4" barrel, double action, six shot, chambered for the .38 Smith & Wesson Special with scarce factory nickel finish and pre-war pearl grips sans medallions. Mint bore. Perfect lock up. Works as new both single and double action. The pearl grips are excellent with no cracks or chips, albeit a bit oversized. Strong case colors on hammer and trigger. Barrel and frame retain 95% original factory nickel, with a couple of minor spots. Cylinder has some minor flaking at rear. Overall a solid 85-90% clean all original example.
