Victory Models were produced 1942 to 1945. The top of the frame is stamped "U.S. Property" and has the "G.H.D." inspector stamp. Standard features include a 4" barrel, sand-blast black magic finish (parkerized), chambered for the .38 Smith & Wesson Special cartridge, smooth two piece walnut grips with lanyard ring in butt. Overall the gun retains approximately 80% original finish, with most thinning on barrel and cylinder. Excellent bore. Perfect action. Nice case colors on hammer and trigger.
