Shotgun manufactured in 1906. Matching numbers on frame, barrel and forend metal. It is a 12 gauge with Vulcan steel 30-1/4" barrels and single bead sight. "No. 2" stamped on lug, "4 4" on barrel flat and a "V" in a circle. Strong clean shiny bore. No visible barrel dents. Barrels are basically blue-brown patina with freckling. Frame colors have silvered out. Original wood is very good with some chipping at tang. Original dog-head buttplate and grip cap. Checkering is sharp. 14-1/4" LOP to front trigger. Locks up tight but lever must be pushed back into position.
