This set of hard-bound books is entitled "Society of the Army of Tennessee". They are based on the reunions and exploits of the Army under the command of General Sherman. The earliest volume is dated 1866 to 1871. Volume II is 1872 to 1876, Volume III 1877 to 1879, Volume IV 1881 to 183, Volume V 1884 to 1887, Volume VI 1888 to 1891. Subsequent volumes include "1892 St. Louis 24th Meeting", "1893 Chicago", "1894 Council Bluffs", "1895 Cincinnati /Chattanooga", "1896 St. Louis", "1897 Milwaukee", "1898 Toledo", "1899 Chicago", "1900 Detroit", "1901 Indianapolis", "1903 Washington-1905 Cincinnati" (one volume), "1906 Council Bluffs", and "1907 Vicksburg" (final volume). The 19 volumes cover the years 1866 to 1907. 1902 there was no meeting and the volumes are in consecutive order. The information offered within this large complete set would be invaluable to anyone wishing to further understand the exploits of the army of Tennessee, the exploits and participants during the great Civil War.
