Chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge with a 5" barrel, parkerized finish, and brown plastic World War II era grips. The gun is a standard World War II issue 1911-A1 manufactured by Remington. Has the original finish and has not been arsenal overhauled. "United States Property" mark on right side of frame and "F.J.A." inspector mark on left side of frame. Would rate this gun overall at approximately 80% with typical thinning on slide and some minor corrosion spots on grip straps and trigger guard. Fine bore and action. Comes with an original Tex Tan U.S. leather holster and a later replacement Colt barrel not correct for era.
