Rifle is chambered for the .303 cartridge and the receiver is dated 1945. Has a 19" barrel, flash suppressor, and wood stocks. Top of barrel is British proofed. Barrel retains 70% finish. Stock has numerous proof marks and original magazine. Walnut stocks are very good. Fine bore and action. These are referred to as the jungle carbine. A handy light weight military carbine.
