Both guns features 20" barrel, full magazines, blued finish, walnut stock, carbine butt and saddle rings. Gun one is chambered for the scarce .25-35 cartridge with a folding two leaf rear sight. Manufactured in 1919. Metal is basically a mix of blue-grey-brown patina. Long forend has been refinished and is shy to metal. Buttstock is refinished and shy to metal. Several boogered screws. Replaced front sight blade. Fairly strong rifling but could use a good cleaning. Second carbine is chambered for the .30 caliber. It has a replaced rear sight, replaced front sight blade. All metal surfaces are a clean smooth blue grey with some brown patina and toning. Forend is very good. Rear stock is shy to metal with chip on right tang. Extremely rough at base. Has sling eyes installed. Has an original hook sling. This rifle was made in 1898 and has a very good bore. Both have fine working actions.
