This rifle was manufactured in 1899. It is chambered for the 38-40 cartridge. This is a standard rifles that features a 24" barrel, full magazine, sporting sites, walnut stock, crescent steel butt plate. All metal surfaces appear to be cleaned and are in the white with fine deep markings. Stocks are very good, no cracks and yet are a bit shy to metal. Right side of stock has some carvings. Perfect working order. Descent rifled bore.
