According to the serial number book this gun was manufactured 1946. It is all original, as manufactured, rare trench gun. Standard features include 20" barrel, cylinder stamped choke, 12 gauge, pump action, blued finish, plain walnut stock, ventilated hand guard, Winchester gutta percha buttplate. Right side of frame is marked U.S. with the Ordnance bomb. Top of barrel has Ordnance bomb. There is a Federal Ordnance import stamp on bottom of frame. All matching numbers. Has an MRT stamped original sling. Metal is basically a smooth brown patina. Bore is fine but could use a cleaning. Action is perfect. Wood is very good showing use with some minor chipping on left side at wrist. This is a takedown model. Left side of stock has the "G.H.D." inspector stamp. Nice all original trench gun.
