Top of frame is stamped "1938". Toggle is a code 42. Chambered for the 9mm cartridge. Standard features include 4" barrel, semi-automatic, blued finish and checkered walnut grips. This gun has import stampings under barrel and numbers do not match. Frame is stamped 8326, toggle is 86, sight is 86, sideplate is 72, side renumbered to 8326, release is stamped 86, toggle pin is stamped 005. Inside grip strap stamped "S.H. 1044", obviously a police unit marking. Nazi stamp on toggle and right side of frame. Retains approximately 85% of the refurbished blue finish, Grip straps are grey. Excellent bore and action. Has an aluminum bottom magazine stamped "FXO" with Waffenamt. Nice German police Luger.
