The first is a Bayard 12 gauge double hammer with 18-1/2" barrels. Excellent bores. Rib dated 1892. Twist barrels. Metal is grey patina. Face is tight. Double triggers. Action works. Wood is good with worn checkering and chip at tang. Replaced buttplate. The second is a Remington double barrel hammer gun 12 gauge with 32" twist barrels. Matching numbers. Barrels are brown patina with no visible dents. Clean bores. Tight lock up and face. Very good wood. Forearm checkering is worn with abrasions, but no cracks or chips. Buttstock is excellent with nice checkering and original gutta percha buttplate. Frame has basically silvered out with traces of color. Double triggers. 14-1/4" LOP to front trigger. Fine old pair of hammer guns.
