The first revolver is a Model 1917 U.S. Army with 5-1/2" barrel. It is chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge, six shot, double action. Has the inspector mark on left side of frame. Butt is stamped "U.S. Army Model 1917". Metal is basically a clean smooth patina. Right side of frame is engraved "John Carroll from C.G. Pearcy Maj. A.C.". Has pre-war style real stag grips. Excellent bore and action. The second gun is a Smith & Wesson Model K-200. It is a .38/200 British Service revolver. Features a square butt, K frame, 5" barrel, six shot, double action and sand-blast finish. British proofs on right side of frame. Top of frame stamped "United States Property". Has an import stamp on left side of frame. Sports pre-war style real stag grips. Case colored hammer and trigger. Chambered for the .38 Special. Gun retains approximately 95% of the original war-time finish with some light high edge wear and drag line. Excellent bore and perfect action. Comes in an old Hunter holster.
