Manufactured 1885 to 1890. Features blued finish, 32-5/8" barrel, walnut stock, and chambered for the .45-70. This rifle has survived in wonderful all original condition. The barrel is a smooth mix of blue-brown patina. Barrel band springs still have 50% fire blue. Barrel bands have traces of blue. Has the 1884 rear sight. Case colors on block have silvered out. Strong "SWP 1889" cartouche on left side. Script "P" in circle at wrist. 40% blue on trigger guard. No cracks or chips in stock which is excellent, albeit a few usual dings. Far above average Trapdoor.
