35" barrel in .50 bore. They lock is stamped “Cyrus Barke, Providence”. Rifle features a full octagon barrel with set rear sight and dovetail front. Barrel secured by wedge and plate system, three brass thimbles and nose cap. Has a brass buttplate, toe plate and trigger guard. No patch box but does have brass side decoration. Finely checkered wrist, nickel oval thumb plate and a nickel plaque on left side with a rollover cheek piece. Metal is all brown patina. Stock is in near mint condition with no cracks or chips, all original finish, and sharp checkering.
