39-1/2" barrel in .12 bore-flintlock. Left side of barrel is dated 1830 with British proofs. 1830 dated inspector mark “W.J.”. Full round barrel is a brown patina with a small brass blade sight. Lock is marked “London Warranted”. Has a brass trigger guard, buttplate, three thimbles, and a forend cap. Lovely stock has all the original finish and is finely checkered at wrist. Brass thumb plate. Hammer may have been replaced. A beautiful 19th century musket/fowling piece.
