Serial number is 859, barrel length is 37", caliber is .60 smooth bore. All metal surfaces on this Belgium manufactured flintlock retain virtually all of the reapplied blued finish. Top of the barrel is stamped Belgium and has the Liege proof marks. The side plate has an acceptance mark and is stamped 859, full length stock is not marked and is in very good condition. It has a repaired crack on left side at frame and there is a 4" crack forward of the side plate. It has two sling swivels, the barrel is fitted with three barrel bands, smooth steel buttplate and clean bore. The Belgium proof mark indicates final proof of muzzle loading shot gun of standard load.
