Barrel is 9", .69 bore. This early flintlock was manufactured by Blake & Company in London and is stamped on lock, barrel is stamped twice with the crown proofs and T.A.R., two brass retaining thimbles, brass trigger guard and brass forend. The barrel is in the white sharp legends and soft aging. Lock assembly is a deep dark chocolate brown with sharp legend. Brass is a deep mustard color. Walnut stocks have some issues. There is a chip at base thimble, a hairline crack at trigger guard, cracked at bottom from plate to plate, rear 1" from the trigger guard has broken off and there is a chip at rear of plate with wood missing.
