bore is .60 and barrel length is 8 3/8"Halbach style Baltimore with note to side plate. This early flintlock pistol has the look of those manufactured in the colonies before and after the Revolutionary War. There are no proof marks or maker marks anywhere. The front sight is a simple set-in blade, 2 brass retaining thimble, brass trigger guard and butt. All metal is a dark brown patina with a small chip on tip of left brass retainer. A fine pistol would date to the later part of the 18th century, late colonial period America. Replaced rod.
