Barrel length is 41" Caliber is .75 bore. Early musket converted from Flintlock to Percussion. Barrel is stamped 1831 with crown proof. Lock stamp partially visible. Stock has crown proofs with F W and G. Brass barrel bands are stamped D. Fine condition early European conversion. All metal surfaces are a dark brown patina. Has three brass barrel bands, butt plate and trigger guard which have been cleaned. Walnut stocks are excellent with no cracks or chips. Strong cartouche. Has two sling swivels. Rear sight is part of the tang.
