Serial number is A4521, caliber is .22 rim fire, barrel length is 24". Manufactured in 1920-1930. Excellent condition, all original model 38, hammerless pump action model with the plain pistol grip stock with the Marlin logo hard plastic buttplate. This fine rifle contains approximately 90% or better all original blue finish with some minor high edge wear. The walnut grooved forend is excellent with no cracks or chips. The butt stock is excellent and proud to metal but the factory varnish is beginning to check. A beautiful rifle as is that would be further enhanced with expert attention to the stock finish. Fine bore and action.
