Caliber is .22 hi-power, barrel length is 20"Manufactured in 1913, this lever action take down short rifle introduced the small caliber hi-power center fire capabilities to the shooting world. Savage advertised this rifle as the "Imp". Standard features include full round barrel, blue finish, walnut stocks, shotgun butt, takedown. Barrel has a post and blade front sight with the original standard rear sight. The frame sports the brass cartridge counter as well as top tang loading indicator with the checkered steel shotgun butt plate. The walnut stocks are excellent with some added finish but are proud to metal and are not cracked. There is a small chip at right side panel. The forend is excellent with no cracks and finished added. The frame and lever retain 85% of the re-applied glued finish. The barrel retains approximately 70% re-applied blued finish with white speckling on barrel. Strong rifle bore and perfect action.
