.25-35 WCF with a 20" barrel. Standard in all respects Saddle Ring Carbine manufactured in 1917 and chambered or the very desirable .25 caliber. Features full round barrel, full magazine, blued finish, walnut stocks, carbine buttplate, saddle ring and stud, post front sight and Winchester carbine ladder rear sight. Barrel legends are strong. Barrel and tube retain approximately 40% thinning factory blue mixed with grey smooth patina. Frame has turned to a very even gun metal color with some blue on loading gate and thinning blue on bolt. Walnut stocks are very good. Forend is free of any cracks or chips, proud to metal. The butt stock is a bit shy to metal at tang, with the usual dings and a 1" divot at top comb, but this was done during period of use. The action is perfect. Bore is strong and clean. Handsome .25 caliber carbine.
