.41 LC caliber with a 2-5/8" barrel. Manufactured 1899. Offered is an interesting as customized .41 caliber Thunderer double action revolver. The original barrel has been shortened to 2-5/8". Front sight has been set back. The revolver has been beautifully period New York engraved. The hammer spur has been bobbed to allow double action only shooting. Sports a pair of vintage aged ivory or bone grips that are extremely well-fitting. Cylinder does not index. Gun has been cleaned of most of the original nickel and is now basically in the white. The frame and trigger guard plates have been slightly custom rounded. Excellent bore. Very interesting little belly gun with a great Western look.
