Barrel length is 14-1/2", caliber is .69. Offered is a fine Austrian Cavalry carbine in wonderful condition. All metal is in the white and remains in excellent condition with just some aging. Barrel has a K proof and it is stamped Anna Oesterlein. The front barrel band is stamped 15. Trigger guard is stamped 2. Near mint walnut one piece stock with left side cheek piece. Left side of barrel has an X & R for inspector stamp, saddle ring bar stamped 2, left side of front barrel band is stamped 2, has original saddle bar with two rings and metal ramrod. Rear sight is integral to tang. Beautiful condition, late 18th century Calvary carbine. This type would have been used during the Napoleonic Wars.
