Serial number is 18618, caliber is 44-40 and was manufactured in 1898. This revolver was shipped to Schoverling, Daly & Gales in New York City, 44 caliber, 7-1/2" barrel, with blue finish. The left side of the barrel is stamped "Colt Frontier Six Shooter". This revolver remains in excellent all original condition that retains approximately 50% original factory blue finish with the balance a pleasing smooth patina. The grips are excellent with no cracks or chips. The action is smooth and tight. The bore exhibits strong rifling with some minor black powder abrasion. Overall a very clean all original Frontier Six Shooter.
