German, circa 1900. Girl with bisque socket head incised "155", made by J.D. Kestner. Blue sleep eyes, open mouth with upper teeth and original bobbed mohair wig. Original composition Kestner body with stiff elbows and jointed knees, shoulders and hips. Redressed in navy blue cotton and lace. Boy with bisque socket head incised 250, made by Ernst Heubach Koppelsdorf. Brown sleeping eyes, open mouth, replaced curly wig, and five-piece composition body with repainted shoes and socks. Wearing original sailor outfit. Two wooden toy cars included. Girl has light cheek and nose rubs.

Condition: (Excellent).
