American, circa 1930s. Five painted bisque babies incised Made in Japan. Have molded hair and painted eyes with jointed shoulders and hips. Wearing original pink organdy dresses contained on a pink silk pillow with Storybook Dolls Sticker. Nice old store box makes an appropriate home for them.
