8" barrel in .44 bore percussion. Standard Civil War military issue six shot .44 caliber percussion revolver with all proper inspector stamps on metal. Faint cartouche on excellent original walnut grips. Strong legends. Near mint bore. Perfect action. All original nipples. Sharp edges. Overall condition is a clean soft brown patina throughout with no damage. We cannot read the serial number under barrel, as the loading lever spring is frozen. Very clean example of this popular Civil War revolver.
