.31 percussion caliber with a 5" barrel. Early gun manufactured in 1853. Standard in all respects. The octagon barrel has faded to a gun metal grey with strong legend. Cylinder is grey with 70% cylinder scene. Traces of case colors on frame, mostly grey. 70% original nickel plating on brass trigger guard and back strap. Excellent original varnished walnut grip with high edge wear. All matching numbers including wedge and loading lever. All original nipples. Five shot. Mint bore. Just needs a little mechanical attention.
