.38-40 caliber with a 24" barrel. Manufactured in 1890. This is a standard untouched all original rifle. Features 24" full octagon barrel, full magazine, blued finish, walnut stocks, rifle butt and Winchester sporting front and rear sights. All metal surfaces are a clean dark brown patina with splashes of blue on loading gate. Stocks are all original, proud to metal with most of the original finish, and no cracks or chips. Just a couple of minor abrasions. Perfect working order. Very good bore. A couple of screws with minor disfiguration. Extremely clean untouched original 1873 Winchester.
