German, circa 1930s. Five babies with painted bisque heads incised A.M. 351on composition bent-limb bodies. Have painted dark hair, blue sleeping eyes, and open mouths with pacifiers and bottles. Wearing crocheted sweaters and flannel diapers. Contained in a blanket with five pockets, each baby fitting in a pocket. All in a vintage wicker basket.
