.38 Smith & Wesson Special with a 3" barrel. 36-3 Chief's special was only manufactured for one year (1988). Standard features includes five shot, double action, blued finish and checkered wood grips. This is a rather scarce gun in that it features the 3" barrel. Gun retains approximately 98% original factory blue with some light muzzle wear and minor freckling on back strap. Mint bore and action. Fine colors on hammer and trigger. Grips are very good. Comes in the original box numbered to gun with paperwork.
