Features a 24" barrel and .38-40 WCF. Manufactured 1891. Standard rifle with 24" full octagon barrel, full magazine, blued finish, original Winchester sporting front and rear sights, with walnut stock and crescent butt. Metal surfaces are devoid of any original finish and are basically a dark gun metal grey with numerous areas of freckling and scattered pitting. The forearm is a crude replacement. Butt stock is original but ill-fitting, refinished, dented at comb. Missing the dust cover. Working order. Poor bore.
