.32-40 caliber with a 26" barrel. Manufactured in 1920. Offered is a fairly scarce rifle in that it was manufactured well after the popularity of the .32-40 cartridge and features the Winchester pistol grip capped stock sans checkering. All other features of this rifle as follows: 26” full octagon barrel, full magazine, original sporting sights, blued finish, walnut stocks and rifle butt. This rifle remains in extremely clean condition. Barrel and tube retain virtually all of the clean blue-brown soft patina with sharp barrel legend. Frame has faded to a soft brown patina. Screw heads are sharp. Wood stocks are excellent with no cracks and only a couple of minor abrasions. Action is perfect. Strong bore but dulling.
