.38 LC cartridge with a 3-1/2" barrel. Manufactured 1882. These popular pocket revolvers were known as the "Sheriff" or "Storekeeper" Model and were manufactured without an ejector rod. This is an early example with the etched left side barrel panel, which is fully readable, and sports standard nickel finish and a pair of vintage pearl grips. This revolver retains approximately 50% original factory nickel finish with some bubbling and age flaking. Generous amounts of fire blue on back of hammer and trigger. Pearl grips are excellent. Indexes perfectly both single and double action. Strong near mint bore. Fine example of an early model 1877.
