.45 LC caliber with a 5-1/2" barrel. The General Meade is a commemorative Colt Single Action Army with a 5-1/2" barrel chambered for the .45 long Colt with the special full blue finish with fluted cylinders and gold plated accents to include hammer, back strap, trigger guard, trigger, cylinder pin, cylinder pin release and ejector rod. The grips are faux ivory with gold medallion. Manufactured in 1966 to commemorate the Pennsylvania campaign. Only 200 were ever manufactured in the .45 caliber. Gun shows as new condition inside and out, with an ever so slight drag line. It comes in the original two-piece box that bears no factory markings except serial number written on bottom, matches gun. Comes with the original warranty card and booklet.
