Offered is an antique bronze cannon with the detachable turret that would allow easy portability. They are from the famous collection of Mr. Theodore Offerman, many of who's items are picture in the book entitled "A Glossary of the Construction, Decoration, & Use of Arms & Armor in all Countries & in all Times" by George Cameron Stone. This cannon measures 44-1/2" and is in excellent all original condition having never been cleaned or polished, and bears an original cloth ID tag from Murray & Young Inc. of New York stamped "Mr. Theo Offerman". It is constructed of bronze and has a 1" diameter bore.
