.30 bore with a 22" barrel. Very high quality Belgium single shot features a tip-up breech, exposed hammer and a full octagon barrel with sporting sights. It also features a checkered pistol grip walnut stock with black composite shotgun buttplate. These rifles are usually found in very worn condition. This example has survived, retaining 95% of the high polish blue barrel finish. Walnut stocks are excellent with no cracks or major chips. Checkering is still fairly sharp. Trigger guard is a blue-brown patina. Has an unusual convex muzzle. Built on Warnant system action, the last Flobert action and best example to that point. Excellent bore. Fine action. A very handsome early pre-war single shot.
