This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/19/2015
Shoot blanks. 14.4" barrel. Manufactured in Verona and dated 1938. This is a smaller version of the 1891 Cavalry carbine with folding bayonet. Manufactured for youth training and also given as awards to youth Fascist groups. They were manufactured to fire blank cartridges. This example does not have a presentation plaque, but was obviously a prize or presentation model as it is completely nickel plated. Right side of stock has the factory stamp, albeit faint, as an added coat of finish has been applied. Trigger guard and magazine have a dull aluminum appearance while the remaining metal parts retain virtually all of the nickel applied finish. Stock is excellent but there is a 1" crack at buttplate on left side. All original parts. An extremely scarce boy's rifle dating to the Spanish Civil War.
Removed asterisks. This gun is antique, not modern.
