Serial number is 374324, caliber is 7.65mm, barrel length is 3 -3/4". These pistols were manufactured by Walther in West Germany circa 1963-1964 and the Nd on frame and slide indicates Police use. These were traded in for larger caliber weapons in the 1980s and were then exported into the United States by the Interarms in Virginia (stamped on left frame). Standard features include; blue finish with black Walther grips. It is a double action, semi automatic. The pistol retains approximately 95% of the original factory blue finish with the majority of the wear on the high edges of slide (probably from holster). Matching numbers, excellent bore and action. It comes in the original alligator box, numbered to gun with an extra magazine and paper work. These pistols were issued at a time in West Germany during numerous conflicts and escape attempts from Soviet Occupied East Germany and represents a relic of the Cold War.
