Barrel length is 7 - 1/2", caliber is .62 bore. This is an octagon barrel, smooth bore, flintlock, single shot pistol manufactured in Leone France. Features a finely carved walnut stock with metal buttplate, engraved trigger guard, rear site with front bead and flared muzzle. It remains in very good original condition. A black lacquer was applied to the barrel at one time. Walnut stock is excellent with no visible cracks or chips. Checkering is very good. The screws are engraved. It is in working order and is an extremely handsome late 18th century large bore French Flinlock.
