This is a standard early World War II issue German Luger semi-automatic pistol chambered for the 9mm cartridge with 1937 stamped on receiver. It has all matching numbers. Features a 4" barrel, right side of slide has a Waffenamt stamp with "63". Mint bore and perfect action. Pistol remains in excellent condition. This is an early war, finely finished, example. Original grips numbered to gun. Grip straps have thinned, there is a hint of muzzle wear and the typical wear found on the left trigger plate convex swell. 75% of the original factory blue is still present. Magazine has matching serial number with Waffenamt stamp. A very fine early example of a Nazi issue Luger.
