.32 Winchester Special caliber with a 26" barrel. Manufactured 1899. Offered is a beautiful, high condition special order Winchester Model 1894 rifle. Features the scarce half octagon barrel with full magazine and has the factory two-leaf folding rear sight and knife-blade front sight. Standard features include blued finish with case colored hammer and lever and walnut stocks. This rifle remains in wonderful condition, retaining most of its original factory finish to include: barrel and tube retain approximately 98% original factory blue with strong barrel legend and razor sharp edges; frame retains approximately 90% of the original factory high polish blue with just minor high edge wear; nose cap retains approximately 50% original blue; hammer and lever retain approximately 60% original case colors, some brilliant; buttplate is a soft gun metal grey. Walnut stocks are near mint, proud to metal with no cracks or chips. Strong clean rifled bore and perfect action. A wonderful, high condition early special order Model 1894 rifle.
